Mission
Statement
We
strive to be a beacon for Jesus Christ, by making disciples through
Him
Purpose
Worship – We are created to glorify God.
Psalm
100:1-4
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with
gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is
God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the
sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his
courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
1
Cor. 6:19-20
Equipping
– We train believers to be imitators of Christ.
2
Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking,
correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God
may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Titus
2:12
Evangelism
–
We introduce individuals to Jesus, verbally and by the daily actions
of our lives
1
Peter 3:15
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give
the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness
and respect....
Colossians 4:5-6
Missions
– We partner with cross-cultural servants sharing the Gospel:
through prayer, encouragement,
and
support of our world wide missions by contributing to the Great
Commission Fund
Matthew
28:19-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I
am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Acts
1:8
Fellowship
–
We intentionally meet as family members, serving one another by
fulfilling life's needs
through
prayer, hospitality, and spiritual gifts.
1
Peter 4:8-10
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a
multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without
grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to
serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various
forms.
Romans
12:5-13
We submit
ourselves to Jesus as our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King
to accomplish the above.
